About the League

The Challengers Tour is a 12-week adult recreational tennis league offering match play, skill-building practices, fitness workshops, and wellness activities. Who is this for?
Best for intermediate-advanced players who are looking to be challenged and improve their tennis game within a supportive community. Groups are carefully designed to pair you with others at your same skill level, ensuring your matches are competitive and perfect for testing out the new skills you've been working on in trainings.

-

How it works?

-
The 12-week program guarantees 8 weeks of match play for all participants.
-
All Players must be registered members of the league and will be assigned to a group based on skill level (2.0-3.0, 3.5, or 4.0 and above).
-
Each player can only compete within their assigned group for the season.
-
Matches are to be played on the assigned day and time as scheduled by 821's League Coordinator
-
Each player plays once per week against different opponents, making it fair and allowing time for practice and fitness/wellness workshops.

The Format

-
Locations: Matches will be hosted around Miami and paired based on players locations and availabilities
-
Ladder Format: Each group will participate in a ladder format where every player gets to play against every other player within their group and are ranked and paired based on matches won throughout the league
-
Per Level: There will be around 8-10 players per group, this format ensures 8 matches per player (1 match per week for 8-12 weeks, flexibility included for travel and work)
-
Time Limit: Each match will be timed to be completed within 60-90 minutes per session
-
If a match cannot be completed due to time constraints, the score will stand as-is unless both players agree to continue the match on another date
